Organizing Kids Bathroom

Any area that is inhabited by kids tends to be messy and unorganized, this includes their bathroom. The key to keeping the area organized is limiting what is allowed in there. You also need to make sure that things are being put back in their prospective places. Once you know what you will allow in the bathroom you need to have a plan for storing everything.

A lot of times kids like to have toys for their baths. It's great to allow them to have toys during bath time but organizing them and storing them out of the way isn't always easy. You want to make sure that you allow bath time toys to drip dry so a great way to not only allow them to dry but to also store them is using a mesh bag. In order to clean the toys you will want to use a bleach water mix from time to time. This will clean out the inside of the toys that often become dirty on the inside from water sitting in them. If you have a limited space to work with you don't want to have an abundance of toys so just allow a few at a time. Store extra toys in the closet and rotate them every so often.

A great way to store towels and washcloths is by hanging some hooks on the wall or the back of the door. Let each child pick their own towel and give them their own area to hang these items. By allowing each child to have their own towel, either a certain colored one or one with a character will help you know who is putting thier things away. To take up less space allow only one or two sets of towels to be stored in the bathroom and keep the rest in a closet not in the bathroom.

The counter can also be a hard place to keep clean and organized. To help organize this area, you can find a cute toothbrush holder. This will keep everything in one area. To help keep the area clean, the new toothpastes come in pump style which makes it easier for little ones to brush their teeth.
